City Serve Initiative
Cru Houston believes it is important to serve the city by partnering with community service missions. As people give back to the community they feel connected, they learn how simple actions sometimes have a great impact and they often see how God allows them to be the answer to someone's prayer. We partner with the groups listed below.
Aldine Family Hope Center

The Aldine Family Hope Center works to ensure the development of youth and families into healthy, productive and self-sufficient members of society and empower the community to take collaborative responsibility in making positive changes.
Angel Tree
Through Angel Tree, you and your church can change a child’s life by giving them a Christmas they’ll never forget. When you serve with Angel Tree, you help prisoners’ children know they’re not forgotten, share the Gospel with lonely families, and serve as an example of Christ’s love to the parents behind bars.
Living Water International

Living Water International is a faith-based non-profit organization that helps communities in developing countries create sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene programs in response to the global water crisis.
1000 Hills Ministry International
209 East Crosstimbers Street, Houston, TX 77022
1000 Hills Ministry steward two large outdoor street churches (Church Under the Bridge & Church in the Park). They provide daily church services and serve a meal at each service.
Generation One

Generation One is committed to the spiritual growth and physical rebuilding of the impoverished areas of the Third Ward of Houston, Texas.
Forge for Families

The Forge for Families serve the Second and Third Wards, as watchmen in the inner-city as they address the needs of the community.
